Spool knitting is a type of knitting that uses a spool with multiple hooks at one end. As the yarn is knitted around the spool the end result forms a tube of knitted fabric. Spool knitting is an easy way to teach children the basics of knitting. In simplistic terms, a spool with two to four nails stuck in the end.
